2009/10 Friendship Trees Planted by RGHF member and RIBI President David Fowler

In the Rotary Year 2009-10 RIBI President David Fowler (an RGHF member) planted 62 trees, with at least one in every one of the 29 districts of Rotary in Great Britain & Ireland. This raised Rotarians’ awareness, and showed the public that Rotary cares about our environment. Publicity was gained for many club projects, and provided opportunities to mark several significant club anniversaries. This is a record of those plantings, and thanks are extended to all who made them possible.

Thanks to RGHF member Tim Tucker for faithfully pursuing this, and posted 7 January 2011 by Jack Selway
